When we first bought Lunar Bird, we never seriously considered ocean sailing, but ideas have a way of blooming into something that sticks in your head like an itch you just can't scratch. In the past 2 years, we've done some serious renovations to our boat to prepare her (and us) for a great voyage. Some of our bigger projects include replacing the teak decks, new rigging, new sails, overhauling the engine, and new instruments. While we have several more projects to tackle, the list is getting smaller. And...as we approach the 2 year mark before we leave (hopefully) we're starting to dream of actual places we might go one day. Exciting!!!
