We're high school sweethearts and have been married for over 30 years. We were lucky enough to have two amazing boys, Jeff and Alec.  In the real world, Mike works as a nuclear engineer and Laurie is a trauma nurse practitioner.

We decided to swap traditional living for boat life after our boys headed off to explore their own adventures. We relocated to Seattle, WA from Ann Arbor, MI and now live aboard a 43ft Mason named Lunar Bird.

Lunar Bird had inspired us to dream of big blue water and we're currently outfitting her to explore the world.
